The symbol the standard round will not show you
The rules of Gates of Olympus Super Scatter contain a quiet sentence with loud consequences: the Super Scatter symbol, the one this fourth series entry is named after, does not appear during standard Free Spins. Four or more Scatter symbols still trigger the round, the Tumble sequence and the growing Multiplier behave as series veterans expect, but the new symbol stays behind in the base game. It remains present in exactly two places, ordinary spins and the Super Free Spins that the rules document only as a purchase. Control over the headline feature is therefore real but priced. The Ante Bet puts more Scatter and Super Scatter symbols on the reels yet switches the standard buy off; the 100x purchase enters the round without the super symbol; keeping it in play costs 500x. None of these levers moves the return in a direction that matters: 96.50% in the base game, 96.55% with the Ante Bet on, 96.50% and 96.49% for the two buys. The choice shapes the session rather than its worth. Every earlier Gates of Olympus release paired this same published figure with a bonus buy, so steering, not value, is what the series has learned to sell.
